We’re now accepting applications for Spring 2019 internships. Each applicant must email a resume, a cover letter conveying which role you’re applying for and why you’d make a great candidate, and at least one writing sample of 750 words or less to by January 3, 2019. Internship Program Requirements
Interns will be expected to work at least 10-15 hours weekly for the course of one semester (for college credit) or longer (on a volunteer basis).

Interns must have access to the internet, be able to check their email at least once daily, and maintain consistent contact with myself throughout the course of the internship.

Intern Responsibilities
Writer responsibilities include:
Pitch unisex article topics for the magazine’s website
Write articles on approved topics
Generate headlines
Conduct research/generate interesting and original interview questions
Conduct interviews (via in person, phone, or email)
Secure credible sources
Keep record of all sources used in articles (both primary and secondary research)

Social Media Coordinator responsibilities include:
Produce original content to post to the magazine’s Facebook and Instagram pages 2-4 times a day
Locate content to repost from original sources, providing credit
Generate short, witty content captions 

All applicants must:
Stay current with trends to produce original, creative and newsworthy content that represents the magazine’s style 
Have a professional Gmail address (Ex: or
Have a basic understanding of WordPress (to accept network invitation and publish a short bio) and Canva (to create original content for social media)

Interns may receive college credit or intern on a volunteer basis.
